It's an interesting thought that in every major city in the world there are small pockets of West Ham fans congregating in pubs

I went to school with his great grandson, or maybe great-great grandson?

He was also called Michael Collins.
His dad moved over here as he wanted no part of the family business. Big man united fans and season ticket holders.

Michael Collins was known as the 'Big fellow' but he wasn't very tall.
The moniker came about because of his political & para-military planning influence.

Michael Collins was a big fan of the 'Kerry blue' canine breed. He wanted to make the 'Kerry blue' the national dog of Ireland.
Whilst he was the most wanted man in Ireland Michael Collins used take his Kerry blue to dog shows & he won prizes that were adjudicated & presented by British army officers.
Whilst British army officers might not have been good at spotting wanted Irish freedom fighters/pyschopathic murderers they recognised a decent looking dog when it was presented to them.

Roltrader is your man. Can’t recall the name of the pub but it has an Irish name and is spitting distance from that cathedral that isn’t built yet.

I’ll be asking a similar question as I’ll be in Newcastle on said night.
